It is with profound sadness that the family of Alexander Brian Peck announce his passing on July 30, 2026, at the age of 45.
Beloved son of Delwyn P. Peck and the late John Peck, Alex was a devoted brother to Michael Peck (Natalie) and was predeceased by his brother Christopher Peck (1979). Uncle to Colton, who held a special place in his heart.
Alex was predeceased by his grandparents, Bishop Jack and Shirley Peck, and Dr. John and Olive Capindale. He will be fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles: Sheila Groombridge (the late Bill Groombridge), Dr. David Peck (Dr. Michelle), Peter Capindale, David Capindale (Monica), Dr. Ruth Capindale (the late Tony Johnson), and Karen Capindale Smith (Joel). He also leaves behind many cousins, extended family members, and countless friends he gathered along life's journey.
Alex had a deep love for music and a true gift in the kitchen. Cooking was one of his greatest passions, and he took pleasure in preparing meals for family and friends. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, warm smile, and generous spirit. While Alex faced many challenges throughout his life, he met them in his own way and never lost the love he held for his family. Despite his struggles, his capacity for caring, loyalty, and compassion remained evident to those who knew him best.
Above all, Alex loved his family. The moments shared around a meal, a song, a conversation, or simply being together were those he treasured most.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff of Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, for their kindness, compassion, and excellent care.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2027. Details will be announced at a later date.
Though his journey was not always an easy one, Alex's life was marked by love, friendship, and the enduring connections he made along the way. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
