In Loving Memory

On November 16th, 2025, heaven gained an angel and the world lost an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Alex Baker lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering spirit. She was a devoted mother to her three beautiful daughters Ashley Fietkau (Nick), Emma Baker (Devin), and Katelyn Baker (Jake). Alex always put her girls first and loved nothing more than spending time with them. She filled their lives with joy and inspiration. They shared a unique bond that will never be forgotten.  Alex leaves behind not only her cherished daughters, but also her beloved dogs, Buddy and Nash, who she adored like family.  Alex and her sister Alison Decosemo (Jeff) shared a special bond.  They were best friends and would laugh until they cried.  Alison cherished her big sister and will do her best keep Alex’s spirit alive. 

In this bittersweet moment, we celebrate Alex's reunion with her father, Keith Gould, and find peace knowing that they are now together again. Her mother Jane Gould will miss her terribly and takes comfort knowing Alex has been reunited with her devoted father.  Alex loved her nieces and nephews beyond measure.  They always knew they could count on her: Bradley Baker, Carly Baker, Megan Decosemo.  The endless love and friendship from the Baker family will never be forgotten: Mike Baker (Laurie), Penny & Jeff Baker, Don Baker (Gloria), Cindy Nason, Nick Nason and Cody Nason. Their friendship meant the world to Alex.  Surrounded by countless other friends and family, Alex's spirit will live on, inspiring others with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love. Her bright light will continue to shine in the lives of all she touched.  A celebration of life will be held in Alex’s honor in January 2026.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hamilton Health Sciences/Hamilton General Hospital would be appreciated.
