Annemarie Buchen passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the age of 85.
Annemarie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Horst Buchen (2012), with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond. Their connection was a source of great joy in her life, and she missed him dearly following his passing.
She was a devoted stepmother, step-grandmother, and step great grandmother roles she embraced with kindness and care. Annemarie is survived by her brother Joachim Machnik (Late Malvina) and is predeceased by her siblings her sister Elisabeth Lutz (Steve); Horst Werner. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Annemarie was also deeply cherished by her dear friend Stephanie Wilson, who will miss her greatly.
A skilled and passionate hairdresser, Annemarie dedicated many years to her profession and took great pride in owning and operating her own business for a long time. Her work allowed her to connect with people in meaningful ways, and she was well known for her warmth and attention to detail.
At home, Annemarie found joy in cooking and baking, often expressing her love through food. She had a special affection for birds, most notably her treasured white dove, “Whitey,” who was her companion for 28 years.
Above all, Annemarie loved her family deeply, especially her siblings, and carried those relationships close to her heart. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to those she loved, and the quiet comforts she brought to everyday life.
Annemarie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
