In Loving Memory
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arleen Cheslock.
Arleen was a spirited woman who lived life on her own terms. She pushed boundaries and ensured her life was filled with adventure. She was an athlete and an artist, a seamstress and a secretary, a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.
On Monday, April 27, Arleen’s adventure came to an end as she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Arleen leaves behind her son, Sean Riley (Jana); her grandchildren, Arianne, Abigail, Jescey, Olivia, and Seth; and her great-grandson, Knox. She also leaves behind her brother, Bob Cheslock (Aggie), and her sister, Sandra Martineau (Gustave), along with many nieces and nephews and friends.
Arleen was predeceased by her parents, Arnold and Grania Cheslock, and her daughter, Carrie-Anne Riley.
In keeping with Arleen’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family will hold a celebration of life in Arleen’s hometown of Buckingham, Quebec, on 20th June, 2026 between 1:30-4:30pm at the Legion Hall. 176 Rue Joseph, Gatineau ,QC, J8L 1G5.
