In Loving Memory
The family announces the passing of Bernard on Saturday, February 21st. Predeceased by his parents, Sebastian and Agnes and his 6 brothers and sisters. Now joined with his late wife, Carmen “Jiggs”; they shared 9 beautiful children between them. Cherished grandfather to 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Survived by his many nieces and nephews in Germany. Bernard was a proud, self-determined man of skilled trades in horticulture in Germany and as a self-employed Drywall Taper in Canada. He enjoyed summertime road trips, showing his kids the countryside and driving around the Smokey Mountains. Bernard was a dedicated family man who is now having a ball with his dog, Billy-Jo. He loved a nice draft beer and visiting family back home in Haagen, Germany.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will take place at a future date.
