Bette Jeane Hexter (nee Taylor) was born October 5 1927 in Ashland, Kentucky. She passed at 97 years old on November 23 2024. Bette was the last of her siblings Lois, Ted and James. Married for 68 years to George (predeceased), Bette was the best Mom to Dereck (predeceased) Julie Lucas and Marc (predeceased). Her 3 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren brought her so much joy.
Bette loved volunteering her time to helping children in the classroom as well as participating in the church choir. Her Christmas ceramics were exceptionally beautiful and are cherished by Julie. Bette outlived most family and friends but is so missed by her bestie, Violet (also 97).
Mom thank you so much for all the precious memories. Dad and you made me who I am today. Love you forever … Julie
