Forever in our hearts

Our beloved mother Beverley Ann Britnell, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with Leukemia at the age of 82. Bev brought joy and kindness to all who knew her. Bev always had a great sense of humour and was always looking to get a laugh in at every conversation. Bev was born and raised in Toronto then moved to Barrie in her late teens, where she met the love of her life, Roger Britnell. Bev had a great love for breeding and showing dogs, she started with Samoyed's, Chow Chows and lastly King Charles Cavaliers. Bev also dabbled in real estate, owned 22 rentals, then built and owned Loonies Bar and Grill. Bev will be greatly missed by her 3 children; Shelley, Randy (Lisa) and Bradley (Kell); her 8 grandchildren; Kristen, Kayla, Logan, Taylor, Austin, Devlin, Davian and Alexa, and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Roger, brother Gord and great granddaughter Kali. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their exceptional care and compassion while looking after mom.
