It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce on January 26, 2026, at the age of 85. Son of Doris and Thomas Sprigg
Bruce was a loving husband to the love of his life Anne for over 60 years. A loving father to Tom (Karen) Annette Lemanczyk (Paul) Jeffrey Sprigg (Tony) Patrick Sprigg (Kathy) He was grandfather to Jake, Cassandra (Daniel) Joshua, Liam and Luke
Brother to Ron (cherished brother-in-law to Paula), Barbara (Fred), Linda (Chris), David (Arlene)(Darlene – deceased), Bill (Deanna), and Jean (Jim) , Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dad was a very social person. He loved to engage in conversation about the latest in politics and general interest in world events. His passion was fast cars and sports. Always a Toronto Maple Leaf fan and every year held out hope that once again he would see them win the Stanley cup. He loved his family and friends and always wanted to know they were safe. Always ready to lend a helping hand. I’m sure he’s back to his mischievous self again getting into trouble with his brother and best friend, Ron
Dad lived-in Long-Term Care with dementia for the last year of his life and died from complications of aspiration pneumonia
Dad was cremated according to his wishes. His ashes have been scattered in a place where he had fond memories of his childhood
