Catharine Ann Imrie
Obituary Overview
Catharine Ann Imrie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catharine Ann Imrie (nee Stock) suddenly on Saturday February 7, 2026 in her 71st year. She will be greatly missed by her family, daughter Sarah, Kirk and her grandsons Korbin and Theodore (Theo), along with her brother John Stock, sister-in-law Elaine, nephews Christopher and Thomas and Great-niece Everly. Predeceased by her parents Leonard Wood and Helen Jean Stock. Born in Toronto, Ontario in 1955 Ann lived a full life with a strong love of family, art, animals and floral design. She could light up any room with her engaging and mischievous smile. She took everything in stride with her early youth diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes; she fought every day, thriving through the disease for 61 years. She was famous for her floral design and incredible gift of art. In her later years after a diagnosis of Dementia and Parkinson's which limited her mobility she continued to look after and nurture her grandsons and enjoyed going out on Saturday nights to Mohawk Racetrack with the family to watch our horses race. An avid and rabid Blue Jays and Raptors fan, she was devout but critical of many bad plays and her opinion could be heard throughout the neighbourhood. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be planned and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to the Children's Health Foundation (TVCC) or London Humane Society in her name.
