Chantal Cheryl Sladic (nee Menard)

Chantal Cheryl Sladic (nee Menard)
August 9, 1980 – October 10, 2025

Chantal was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father of Friday, October 10. Best friend and cherished wife of over 17 years to Pete. Devoted and loving mother to Reighna and Reila.
She has been reunited with her beloved mother, Annette Menard. Chantal was the cherished daughter to Claude Menard.
Forever remembered by her brother Cedric (Val) and their children Tex and Dakota.
Dear daughter-in-law to Mary and the late Peter Sladic and sister-in-law to George (Katie) and Suzee (Bob). Predeceased by her grandparents Yvette & Paul Menard and Georges & Helen Pilon.
Chantal’s warmth and presence will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and the many communities she touched through her faith, teaching, and friendships.
Throughout Chantal’s life on Earth, she influenced many people’s lives through her compassion, generosity, and laughter. She greeted everyone she knew with the kindest smile that lit up every room. She was devoted to her family, which she was so incredibly proud of. She was passionate about homeschooling her daughters.
Outside of her passion for her family, Chantal served at Steps of Faith Christian Dance School as the executive administrator. She greeted every dancer and every family weekly with a warm smile and hug. She poured her heart into ensuring that every dancer was loved and cared for. Every recital, Chantal’s face would light up watching each dancer dance, especially her own daughter Reighna.
Chantal served her community throughout her life. She was passionate about children’s ministry and volunteered for many years.
Her beautiful legacy of selfless love, Christ-like character, and passion for encouraging others will continue to live on through her devoted husband and beautiful daughters.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Chantal's life will take place on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at 11:00am at Parkwood Gospel Church, 3005 Temple Dr., Windsor, ON. A celebration, fellowship, and lunch will follow.
