Charles (Butch) Soulliere

February 1,1943 – August 7, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charlie at 83 years of age. He fought a valiant fight for 5 years against Parkinson's. He was the best friend and husband of Liz McCord. 

Beloved father of Donna Bortell (Stuart) and Robert Soulliere (Haehua). Dear stepfather of Terry Hatton (Rachaelle), Monica Hatton, and Jody Hatton. Pépé to 9 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jenna, Sophie, Joshua, Jocelyn, T.J., Sarah, Tyler, and Hayley. Pépé to 3 great-grandchildren, Grayson, Matthew, and Neurah. 

Predeceased by his parents Archille Soulliere and Amanda Seguin.

Dear brother of the late Louis and sister-in-law Joyce, Yvonne Teno and the late Orval, Rose Soulliere, Jeannette and Jim Sylvestre, Norm and Linda Soulliere.  Missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Charlie worked over 35 years at Chryslers and farmed all his life. He was the proud owner of The Barn in Lasalle. Many walks of life walked through the barn doors. Whether they were rich or poor, he welcomed them all. He was famous for growing the best and biggest sweet potatoes. He was loved by all who knew him. As per Charlie's wishes, there will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
