It is with profound sadness the family announces that Charles William Stewart suffered with stage 4 COPD and stage 4 prostate cancer and sadly passed away on Friday, August 14th 2026. Loving common law husband to Heather Young for 16 years and loving husband to Cresa Stewart for 38 years. Dear father to Lisa Stewart, Jesse Young and adoptive daughter Cassandra Churney. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Mary-Ehaine Delamorandiere and Edward Alfred Clayton Stewart. Also by his brothers Ed and Lee Stewart and his sister Kelly Morin and her son Christopher Morin. Loving sisters Carolyn Stewart, Tina Chong, Tammy Stewart as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him. Charles was a man with such a kind, loving and huge heart, he always had a way to make everyone around him feel welcome and loved, his smile was always huge and comforting, his hugs were the kind that stayed with you long after you left his side. He brought people together so naturally and there was always laughter, conversation and love. Food was one of the many ways he showed love he made a difference in everyones lives. He will be truly missed by many and forever remembered and always loved.
