Christopher "Chris" Gerald Garant

April 10, 1961 - October 4, 2025 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father 
Christopher (Chris) Gerald Garant on Friday, October 4, 2025 at the age of 64. 

Loving dad of Ryan Garant, and Kristin (Aaron) Ouellette. Will be missed by his wife and 
dear friend Debby. Predeceased by his father, Gerald (Red) Garant (2016) and 
Dorothy (Dot) Garant (2025). Beloved brother of Lori (Evan) Clark, and D’Etta (Vern) Meloche. 
Dear uncle to Ava (Dylan) Smith; great uncle to Arlo Smith; Steven Clark, Andrew (Timisha) 
Meloche, and Adam (Corey) Meloche. He will also be missed by many surviving extended 
family. 

Chris was a fun-loving, talkative man who enjoyed hockey. He had an adventurous spirit 
and loved to take his son to Montreal Canadiens’ games. 

He was beloved by his daughter who shared a love of movies and music. He had a great 
sense of humour and a boisterous, contagious laugh. He will be cheering for the Habs from Heaven. 

Chris was dedicated to his work at Catalent, where he worked for over 20 years and formed many friendships. We would like to extend our appreciation to his friends and co-workers 
for their love and laughter through the years. 

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the Windsor Police and Emergency services for their compassion. 

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will be having a celebration of life for Chris on Saturday October 18, 2025 at Harvest Bible Church, 2001 Spring Garden Rd., with family visiting with guests after 10 am followed by a service to celebrate Chris at 11 am.  All are invited to come and join.
