It’s with heavy hearts the family of Clair William McKeen announce his passing on July 20, 2026 at the age of 94.

Beloved husband of 49 years to the late Agnes Rose McKeen (nee Ferguson).

Cherished father of Mary-Beth (Ron) Burns, Peter (Patricia) McKeen, and Ken (Cathy) McKeen. Clair is predeceased by his son Timothy (survived by Debra).

Proud grandpa to Jeremy, Jason, Josh, Jacob, Matthew, Hannah, Will, Jordan, and Liam, and great-grandfather to Claire, Colin, Max, Charlie, and Conor.

Clair is predeceased by his siblings Arnold (Eleanor) McKeen and Joy (Maurice) Thibert.

He will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Clair was born on the family farm in Staples, Ontario. A graduate of Ford Trade School, he dedicated his entire career to Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 37 years.
Clair was an avid woodworker and skilled mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands. Whether he was crafting something from wood or repairing a car, he took great pride in his workmanship and attention to detail. His family will forever cherish the many treasures he created over the years, especially his beautiful handcrafted clocks.

Clair also had a love for the sunny south and spent many winters with Agnes in Florida as snowbirds.

In keeping with Clair's wishes, cremation has taken place.
