Daila Nora Dzintars (nee Miculs)

In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daila on October 30, 2025 at the age of 64.

Daila is survived by loving husband Andrejs, and children Lauris, Andra (Dylan), and Ēriks. Daughter of Nora and the late Ivars Mičuls. Beloved sister to Benita (Glenn). Loving aunt to Niklāvs (Nikki), Ance, and Mia. Loving niece to Melita. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

Daila will forever be remembered for her kind and warm spirit. She was an integral part of the Toronto Latvian Community, participating in choirs, dance groups, committees and so much more. Daila was a California girl at heart who loved her animals. When Daila was diagnosed with cancer, she rediscovered her love for horseback riding, which provided her joy until the very end.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Toronto Latvian Centre, located at 4 Credit Union Drive in Toronto, ON.

6-10pm Singing, dancing, and merriment
