Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Darrell Wayne Torrison, age 63, passed away suddenly on March 30, 2026. Born on October 5, 1962, Darrell was a man of many talents, known for his remarkable skills in the trades and a deep, soulful connection to music.
Darrell had a profound love for Spanish music, a passion that frequently drew him to the Dominican Republic. He found immense joy in the island's vibrant culture and beauty, feeling truly at home among its rhythms. In a beautiful testament to his spirit, Darrell’s final moments were accompanied by the sounds of Marc Anthony’s "Vivir Mi Vida"—a song that mirrored his own journey of embracing life even when there is sadness.
Darrell is survived by his loving children, daughter Sandi Ellen Torrison and son Daniel John Torrison. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his four grandchildren: Trey Batchelor, Ayden Chang, Jack Torrison, and Harriet Torrison.
He is also survived by his brother, Don Torrison, and sister-in-law, Cindy Torrison. Darrell was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Elaine Torrison, and his brother, Doug Torrison.
Darrel's presence will be missed, but his rhythm and the spirit of "living his life" will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
"Voy a reír, voy a bailar, vivir mi vida, lalalalá..."
