Darrell had a profound love for Spanish music, a passion that frequently drew him to the Dominican Republic. He found immense joy in the island's vibrant culture and beauty, feeling truly at home among its rhythms. Darrell is survived by his loving children, daughter Sandi Ellen Torrison and son Daniel John Torrison. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his four grandchildren: Trey Batchelor, Ayden Chang, Jack Torrison, and Harriet Torrison.

He is also survived by his brother, Don Torrison, and sister-in-law, Cindy Torrison. Darrell was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Elaine Torrison, and his brother, Doug Torrison.
