David William Brindley

BRINDLEY, David William, age 80 passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026 with family by his side, after a 5 year battle with Cancer. He was born April 25th, 1946 in Windsor Ontario, son of late Albert & Mary Brindley. Cherished husband of the late Donna (Brewer). Loving father to son Michael Brindley (Edward McLaughlin), Jason (Lori) Brindley, grandfather to Zoe Papanastassiou.

Beloved brother of Late Kenny Brindley (Gail), Larry (Marge) Brindley, Rhonda (Paul) Babiuk. Rick (Sue Hazlehurst) Brindley, Brother-in-law to the late Barbara Bird (late John Martel and Late John Bird), Pat (John DiPonio) Bechard Debbie (Guy) Peloquin, Tim (Bonnie) Brewer, Tom (Linda) Brewer, David (Mary) Brewer. He is survived by dear cousins, many nieces and nephews.

Dave retired from Chrysler after 30+ years of service. He was a long standing member of the Shakers Inc. Dave had a true passion for cars and spent much time tinkering in his garage with his 1968 Camaro. Dave was also an avid hockey & baseball fan and a fisherman at heart.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Windsor Essex County Hospice. The care and compassion offered was both a blessing and comfort. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19th. please contact Jason, Mike, Lori or Ed for details. RSVP,  no later than Monday September 14th.
