Woody (Derwood) Francis Nicholson
Woody (Derwood) Francis Nicholson passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, surrounded by the family he so deeply adored. Son of the late Francis and Margaret Nicholson. Through his dedication and care, he built a meaningful life with his beloved wife, Joan (Phillips), and their children, Devin Nicholson, Dayna (Thomas) Donahue, and Deidre Nicholson.
A proud businessman, Woody owned and operated Holland Printing Ltd. for over 35 years where his hard work and integrity left a lasting mark on his community.
Woody cherished time spent at the lake, where he found joy and peace among family and friends. He also had a lifelong love of music, which provided him with inspiration and comfort throughout his life.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man who valued life's simple pleasures.
A private ceremony will be held and a celebration of life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
