In Loving Memory

On December 19th, 2025, heaven gained an angel and the world lost an extraordinary wife, mother, sister, daughter (in-law), aunt and friend.

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of Diane Steinback (nee Medeiros). Diane is survived by her husband and best friend of 29 years, Brad Steinback, and their children: Tyler and Daylon Steinback (Brittney), who were the pride of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Medeiros (Charlene), and half-siblings, Elizabeth Slaski and John De Medeiros. Beloved daughter of the late João De Medeiros, step daughter of Jeanette De Medeiros, daughter-in-law to Ron and Sharron Steinback and sister-in-law to Cheryl Steinback, and Brent Steinback (Stephanie). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Carmen (Kyle), Trevor (Ellen), Devin, Kaden, Finn, and Grady, as well as her three great-nephews and great-niece and by friends who stood with her through every season of life.

Diane loved spending time at the cottage, the water was her happy place. She enjoyed many simple comforts like fishing & boating, lounging poolside, spontaneous road trips, or just having an encouraging chat. She was selfless. Her generosity knew no bounds and she always found ways to make life brighter for those around her. She offered her home freely to family and friends, making sure everyone knew they were always welcome. Her heart was always turned outward; towards her family, friends, animals and even strangers.

As per her wishes, cremation is scheduled to take place, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Diane's kindness, generosity and loving spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of all who loved her.
