It is with heavy hearts that the family of Don Labonte announces his passing on January 06, 2026 at the age of 76.

Beloved husband to Colleen Labonte of 53 years.

Cherished Father to Tim and Greg (Danielle) Labonte.

Will be forever remembered by his grandchildren Landon, Cody, Ben, Paige, Lincoln and Lexi.

And future granddaughter that he tried to hold on for who he already loved so much Dawn Josephine Labonte.

Doting puppy dad to his little Gidgit.

Long time friends and neighbours to Henry and Shirley.

Don will also be dearly missed by the many friends and extended family he made along the way while doing all the things he loved.

He was a prized winning fisherman.

and hunter winning 2^nd place with the biggest bull moose in Ontario.

Enjoyed travelling with his wife Colleen and spending their winters in Florida and summers in Larder Lake with friends.

Don was part of the Knights of Columbus ( Harrow ).

Don was forever making people laugh and making friends with everyone wherever he went.

He would always be the first to offer his help whenever needed.

As per Don's wishes cremation has already taken place with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
