With Heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving dad, on November 10, 2025, on what would have been his 69th Wedding Anniversary. Predeceased and eagerly waiting to celebrate with him is his wife Rose Meri (2024)
Shorty leaves behind his 5 children, Kathi (Larry), Darryl (Shelley), Karen (Chris), Cindy (Ted) and Wendy (Louie). He will be greatly missed by his 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
He is survived by his sisters Gloria, Ruth and Yvonne and brothers Roger, Bobby and Leonard. Predeceased by his parents: Earl and Victoria, sisters: Annette, Cecile & Claire and brothers: Edgar (Butch), Joseph, Earl Jr and Francis (Frank)
Shorty worked at and retired from Kelsey Hayes in 1992. He could always be found tinkering in his garage, working on a car or fixing something. He loved camping with his family and enjoyed a good round of golf.
As per his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation (Wyandotte). Donations can be made in his name to either the “Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County” or the “MS Community Windsor-Essex County”.
