Douglas John Provick

In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Douglas Provick.

Son of the late William Provick and Elizabeth (nee Laprade) survived by his children Brian (Celine Quinn), Keith (Danielle Robichaud), Tina (Marc Chartrand), and Genevieve, with his former wife Anna Provick (nee van den Oetelaar).

He is survived by his brothers Bill (Mariette Marleau), Gerry (Arlene Rochon) and Glenn (Heather). Predeceased by his late partner Judy Lalonde, his sisters Anne, Julie (late Allan Cave) and brother Bob (Brenda Wiseman).

Doug was grandfather to his eight grandchildren Tobias, Sophie, Ethan, Callum, Isabelle, Daphne, Marshall and Theodore.

Douglas’ memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He will be remembered for his great love of racing, the outdoors, fishing and hunting.

 
His family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the Kemptville Emergency Services and the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Kemptville District Hospital, where Doug spent his final days.

As per Doug’s final wishes, there will be no visitation nor funeral. Following cremation, there will be a private family memorial at a later date. In his honor, the family kindly welcomes any charitable donations to the Ottawa Heart Institution or charity of your choosing.
