LANGLOIS, Earl Thomas

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Earl Langlois, on August 22, 2026, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of 53 years to Anita (nee Smith). Devoted father to Derek and Scott (Anna). Proud Papa to Emma and Jacob, who brought him immense joy and were the light of his life. Predeceased by his parents Albert Langlois and Awanda Johnston and stepfather Edward Johnston. Cherished brother of the late Nadine Daniher (Carl), Alice Carson (the late Wayne), Vicky Scott (Tom), and Kim Riberdy (Randy). Dear brother in-law of the late Randy Smith, Dennis Smith (the late Carol) and Keith Smith (Glenda). Special friend to Nancy and Matt Heynsbroek, and Kathy and the late Denis Carson. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Earl loved to travel and cherished every moment spent surrounded by family, especially his beloved grandchildren and four-legged sidekick, Zoe. He was happiest at the rink, watching Emma and Jacob play hockey and proudly cheering them on. He loved spending time together on the boat, never letting a shortage of fish get in the way of a great day on the water. Earl was retired for 23 years from Chrysler Canada (Vehicle Completion Centre) and was a proud member of the Unifor Local 444 Retirees Chapter.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the Windsor Regional Hospital - Cancer Centre, Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Hospice of Windsor, Ontario Health at Home, Dr. Elfiki, Dr. Gayagoy and Dr. Rukavina for their care and compassion.

In gratitude for their exceptional care, donations in Earl’s memory may be made to the Windsor Regional Hospital - Cancer Centre.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation (East). A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories and cherished memories, and honour the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
