It's with heavy hearts the family of Edward Gregory Wing announces his passing on July 16, 2026 at the age of 78.

Ed was the beloved husband and best friend of Maureen Hayden-Wing for 28 wonderful years.

Cherished father to Isaac (Stephanie) Wing and Felicia Wing and step-father to Scott (Nancy) Reddam and Keely Lesky.

Proud Papa to Jessica Reddam, Damon Penrose, Lily Penrose, Kingsley Wing, Hayden Wing, and Grayson Wing. His grandchildren were truly his pride and joy.

Survived by his siblings Douglas Wing and Carolyn (the late Ken) Burnside. Ed is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Wing.

Dear lifelong friend to Justin Deneau.

Ed will also be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Edward was a skilled refrigeration technician and over 40-year member of Local 787. He also proudly served as a board member of Solidarity Towers for 10 years.

Known for his humble and generous nature, Ed went about life helping others whenever and however he could. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an exceptional Papa. Though he accomplished much throughout his life, nothing brought him greater happiness than his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Per Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place.
