Eileen Grace Laing (née MacRae)

Eileen passed away at 101 years old. Daughter of the late Mabel and John MacRae. Predeceased by husbands John Hancrar (1988), and James (Jim) H. Laing (2005). Loving mother to Heather Kuhn (Michael) and Nancy Hancrar. Dear grandma to Marnie and Margot Kuhn, and Jane Gauthier. Proud “gigi” of Lyla Grace Lewandowski. Stepmother to Joan and Leesen Laing; children Cheryl (Trevor Pitcher), Matthew (Robyn) and great-grandchildren Brody and Reese. Predeceased by sisters Annabelle, Phyllis and Carol, Nova Scotia. Survived by cousins, nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and Ontario.

Eileen enjoyed her retirement years traveling and with Jim visited many parts of the world. Gardening, lawn bowling and reading were her favorite hobbies. In her later years, she thoroughly enjoyed the company of her grand-dog and 3 great-grand-dogs.

Cremation has taken place with a family graveside service to follow.
