Betty passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
She was born December 2, 1931 to Jack Milburn and Evelyn Curtis. Predeceased by her parents and her sister Lila Hughes. She is survived by her husband Alister, daughter Lisa Lewington (Bill), 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother John (Jeannine), her cousin Laura, 2 nieces and one nephew. Over the years, Betty enjoyed golfing, horse races, playing cards with her friends and winning at the casino. Her infectious laugh will be missed by many. Special thanks to Dr. Brien and his nurse Deb for their compassionate care over years. For the last 2 1/2 years, Betty enjoyed meeting new friends at Kawartha Heights Retirement Home. Cremation has taken place. Internment at Rosemount Cemetery at a later date.
