It’s with heavy hearts the family of Erie Douglas Woltz announces his passing on January 26, 2026 at the age of 96.

Loving husband of 58 years to the late Mary Woltz (2006) (nee Ashton).

Dear father to Jay (Lillian), Judy (Stan), and Mark (Marianne).

Erie was the son of the late Bill and Stella Woltz and brother of the late Robert Pritchard and Bill Woltz. Loving grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 13.

Erie will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends.

Erie was previously the President of the Windsor PC Party and Vice President of the PC Party for Southwestern Ontario. He was an avid outdoorsmen and loved fishing, hunting, and enjoyed the Northern life.

Per Erie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
