Eugene Dahl

Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on March 8, 2026, at 86 years of age.
Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Mailloux, 2017) for 58 years.
Loving father of the late Gerald (1961), Donald (Maria), David (Cathy), Daniel “Danny” (Christine) Dahl, and Dianne Bishop (the late Bill, 2005).
Cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 26.
The family dogs brought him great joy - Carliegh loved to snuggle with him, and Myles brought grandpa his slippers every morning.
Eugene, along with his wife Alice, were the proud owners of the Dahl House Restaurant for 30 years. He enjoyed playing his steel guitar with the bands on Saturday nights.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the St. Elizabeth PSWs for their exceptional care, as well as Dr. Rukavina, the staff from Hospice, and Ontario Home Care for all their visits and support.
Cremation has taken place. Eugene will be laid to rest at Annunciation Cemetery (Stoney Point) at a later date.
