Frank Joseph Hamelin
Obituary Overview
Frank Hamelin
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Frank Joseph Hamelin, at the age of 64. Frank was a loving husband to Nadine (Alexander) for 31 years, and a proud and devoted father to Jason (Kali), Samantha, and Ashley. His family was his world and everything he did, he did for them. They were his pride and joy — the centre of his world.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley (2023) and Rosemary (Allen) (2020), and leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory close to their hearts: his siblings Stan, Brian, Susan (Wayne), and Colleen (John). He will also be deeply missed by his brother-in-law Brien (Sandy). Frank was a beloved uncle and great-uncle to Rod (Tammy), Tonya (Stephen), Tracy (Brad), Wayne, Tiffany (Tom), Melissa (Rey), Larry, Lyle, Jared, Jaiden (Conner), Valerie, Adam (Julie), Connor, Keara, Logan, Owen, Mattie, Claire, Jack, Edward, and Lucas.
Frank had many friends and cousins who he was very close with. Frank was a true-blue Toronto Maple Leafs fan through and through, cheering for his team no matter the score. He was also a talented baseball player who loved the game and the friendships that came with it.
Those who knew Frank will remember his easy smile, his quick wit, and his generous heart. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, and his presence filled every room with warmth and laughter. Frank leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories, and stories that will be told for years to come. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honour Frank’s memory with a donation to your favourite charity, reflecting his love and compassion for others.
We invite family and friends to join us in remembering Frank with a mass on Tuesday, November 4th. The family will receive the public beginning at 10:30am until the time of the mass at 11am at St. Clement Parish in McGregor (9567 County Rd 11, McGregor, ON N0R1J0). Afterward, we will gather for a celebration of life at the McGregor Columbian Club (9560 Walker Rd, McGregor, ON N0R1J0). Your presence would mean a lot to the family as we celebrate a life so dearly loved.
