In Memory of Gordon (Gord) Francis Moffat. August 13, 1941 to January 8, 2026.
Loving husband of Julinka and father of Siusan E Moffat (Gord's family was his greatest joy.) Father in law of G. Grandison. Son of Alex B Moffat (1960) and Lilian G Moffat (Haynes) (1990). Brother in law of George B Perich and Cathleen Perich.
Gord was born and lived his entire life in the Windsor area. He graduated from University of Windsor and St. Clair College. He was Quality Manager for Champion Spark Plug until its closing in 1992. He was a member of The Clan Moffat Society and The Canadian Anglo Club. Gord was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program of the Victorian Order of Nurses for 27 years and previously Hotel Dieu Hospital.
Gord's recreational activities included swimming and an enthusiastic love of golf. He was a starter at Lakewood Golf Club in the 1990s. With his longtime golfing partner Ian Slade and the rest of the Thursday duffers he hacked around the best courses in Southeast Michigan.
Gord has been cremated and remains returned to the earth.
