In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graham, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 78.

Former husband of, and mother of his daughter, Masayo Gardner. Devoted father of Sally. Cherished grandfather of Gabriella and Marley Marcotte. Beloved brother of Barry and Susan. Adored son of the late Gwendoline, and the late Thomas Gardner. Graham’s memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family extends sincere thanks to the nurses and care team who looked after him with such kindness and compassion in his final days.

Graham was an avid sportsman who found great joy on the court and on the course. A passionate squash and tennis player and an enthusiastic golfer, he was the happiest when he was in the game, surrounded by friends. Above all, he was a loving father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his warmth, his love of sport, and the unwavering love and pride he had for his family.

A private service will be held by Graham’s family. At Graham’s request, no formal service will be held. Memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute are appreciated.
