Grant Donald Waldram
December 17, 1959 – August 27th 2025
With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Grant Donald Waldram, who left us peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born December 17, 1959, in Windsor, Ontario, Grant’s life was defined by quiet strength, unwavering love, and a deep devotion to his family.
Grant was a devoted husband to Lisa, his wife since 1980, and a proud father to Samantha (Spencer) and Brandon. In recent years, he embraced one of his greatest roles as “Papa” to his granddaughter Grace, who brought joy and light into his life.
He was a beloved brother to Karen Mantha (John) and a proud uncle to Ryan, Colin, Kristen, Krista and Allan.
A skilled and hardworking pipe fitter, Grant built a life through quiet dedication and steady effort. He was a man of few words, but he had his own unmistakable way of showing pride, humor, and kindness. Whether through a well-timed joke, a helping hand, or simply being there when it mattered most, Grant made sure the people he loved felt it.
His presence was a grounding force — calm, reliable, and deeply loved.
Outside of work, Grant found joy in the simple things: a cold beer in the backyard, putting on the radio, or a quiet afternoon spent with his family.
His dry sense of humor, often catching you off guard, left those around him laughing long after the moment had passed. To his family, he was a foundation, steady and strong.
In keeping with his wishes, Grant will be cremated.
He will be remembered always for his quiet strength, steady heart, and the love he poured into his family.
Though he may be gone from our sight, his love and spirit live on in each of us — in the laughter of his granddaughter, the hands of his children, and the life he built alongside Lisa. His memory will be carried forward with every story shared, every lesson remembered, and every quiet moment when we feel him near.
