PERCY, Hamilton "Hammy"
Born August 18, 1947, peacefully passed on June 17, 2026 after a short illness. He was a loving husband, devoted father and cherished grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and friendship.
Hammy is survived by his beloved wife Vicky (Westfall) and his two children Chad Percy and Jamie Warnock (Jeremy). He was a proud grandfather to his granddaughters Elise and Abby. He was son of the late Ivan (Percy) and Dorothy (Neil), and is remembered by his siblings Charlene Casetta (late John) and Charlie Percy (Cathy). Hammy was also brother in law to John Westfall (Carol), Janet Bennet, Tom Westfall (late Diane), George Westfall (Sally), Pat Westfall (late Darcy), and Ben Westfall. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Hammy maintained deep connections, including a life long friendship with Dan Flynn. He dedicated many years of service to Mac's Convenience where he formed many last friendships. Known for his pride in his home, Hammy spent countless hours outdoors, tirelessly tending to his lawn to ensure it was the best on the street.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of both the Hotel Dieu and Met campuses of Windsor Regional Hospital for their compassionate care over the past few months. In accordance with Hammy's wishes, cremation has taken place..
As we remember Hammy, we encourage everyone to grieve in their own way. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Hammy's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
