Ina Marie Hilmarsen

Ina passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Friday, January 30, in the hospital. After a long and full life, she can now rest without pain and be reunited with her beloved husband, John Hilmarsen, whom she dearly missed. 

She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her warmth, kindness, and strength will be remembered by all who knew her. Ina will be cremated, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who cherished her. 

Born in Windsor to her parents, Norm and Lena LaBute, Ina was a devoted mother to Linda, Kim, and the late Carl, and a proud grandmother to Millissa and Tricia. She also leaves behind her four great‑grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy. 

Ina was a loving sister to Wally and Gloria, Armand and Barbara, and Florence. She also leaves behind her good friend, Pat.  Most of all her beloved friend and care taker Leo.

Her presence, love, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed. 

At Ina’s request, cremation has taken place.
