Obituary Overview

Bezaire, Jake Patrick

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the sudden passing of Jake Patrick Bezaire on September 6, 2025 at the age of 21. Though Jake's journey with mental health was difficult, his life was filled with love, laughter, and strong connections that will be forever cherished.

Jake will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Dawn and Shawn Bezaire, and his brother Jeremy. He was predeceased by his beloved Mimi; Julie Banfill (2010), his Pipi; Doug Bezaire (2024), and his brother Jesse (2002), with whom he is now reunited. He will be remembered with love by his grandparents Elaine Bezaire and Russ Banfill (Carla Soulliere); his aunts and uncles Lauren Seguin (Mike Motruk), Scott Bezaire (Lynn Thomas), and Stephen and Kate Bezaire; as well as his cousins Gabby, Kennedy, Brock, Landan, Jayce, Dawson, and Adaline, who will hold him forever in their hearts.

Jake was proud to work at ER Vollans in Kingsville where he enjoyed learning new skills and interacting with the many customers he encountered each day at the shop. Jim Vollans and Jimmy & Angie Lonsbery were like family to him in every way that mattered. Jake shared a special bond with his many canine companions, especially Kane, and had a gift for connecting with animals. Known for his generosity with his time, Jake never hesitated to lend a hand when someone asked for help. He was also known for giving the very best hugs, the kind that made you feel safe, loved, and cared for. His loyalty to those he loved was unwavering, and his presence was a source of strength and kindness. He was also a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 338 in Harrow.

Jake was an old soul with a deep passion for cars, especially vintage street rods. He loved striking up conversations with their owners, always ready with a compliment and genuine appreciation for a cool car. He shared many special memories attending Windsor Spitfire games with Jim. One of Jake’s favorite events each year was the Harrow Fair. As a child, he loved playing on the tractors, and as an adult he found joy in driving equipment on display to and from the fair — a tradition that meant so much to him.

Jake’s light and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His kindness, humor, and warmth touched countless lives, and his memory will be cherished forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jake’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Windsor & Essex County Humane Society.
