Jane Carmichael

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Jane Carmichael at the age of 84. 

Loving mother of Catherine and Steve (Tricia) Carmichael. Cherished Grandma to Billy (Jessica), Kristyn (Denis), Gillian (Jesse), Megan, Chloe, Dave and Ena. Recently became a great grandmother to her sweet Declan. 

Will be deeply missed by all her siblings Allan (Annie), Jeanette, Shirley, Bob (Judy), Glenn (Bernice). Predeceased by her sister Lorene. Jane will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She worked at Shoppers Drug Mart for many years where she met and got to know so many people. Jane had an amazing memory and would still remember customers names and their families 20 years later. 

Jane loved a good cup of coffee, reading the paper and finding the next great recipe to make. She had an immense love of scratch tickets and would love to have everyone scratch them all together (she would always win the most). 

Mom was a woman of strength and grace, and her love will continue to guide us. 

As per Jane’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life with family will be held.
