In Loving Memory
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Brown (née Brownrigg) on June 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her best friend and husband, Peter Brown; her daughter, Tara Pelletier (Christian); stepson Philip Brown; stepdaughter Roxanne Brown (Alex); grandchildren Julien, Nathan, and Kacey; her extended family, and her devoted potcakes, Caicos and Ginger. She will be profoundly missed by her loving family and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre for their exceptional care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kanata Legion (70 Hines Rd, Kanata) on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janet's memory to the Potcake Place K9 Rescue in Turks and Caicos.
