Jason Terrance Tremblett
Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jason Tremblett announces his passing on October 11, 2025, at the age of 52 after a short battle with cancer. Jason fought his last four months with strength, courage and positivity and passed peacefully, surrounded and comforted by his loved ones.
Jason was predeceased by his grandparents Elijah and Laura Froude and Gus and Norma Tremblett, his mother Gloria ( 2006,) his sister Jill Tilley ( 2024) and many members of his extended family of Trembletts, Froudes, and Feeners. Jason leaves to mourn his precious children Katie (mother Jennifer) and Theo (mother Tara), father Terry Tremblett (Virginia Pennell), partner Wendy Woolridge (son Kenneth), brother-in-law Todd Tilley, nieces Megan and Miranda, nephew Jordan, Virginia’s sons Jeff, Ted and Tim and their families and the members of Jason’s extended family, especially aunt Sandra and uncle Greg Mulrooney.
Jason is also remembered by the many friends who were an important part of his life, a number of whom travelled to Toronto to support him on his journey with cancer. While working at Canada Post, Jason formed special friendships with his colleagues and his life was further enriched by the warm relationship with his close friends Bill Evans and Blair Dwyer. David Green, Jason’s “brother from another mother”, exemplified their true lifelong friendship by spending much quality time with him making happy memories, especially those of time spent attending Blue Jays games together.
Jason had a deep affection for animals and wanted to adopt every animal looking for a home. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed an active lifestyle, including hockey, baseball, and running on the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail near his home. He shared these activities with Katie and Theo, creating memories with them that they will long hold dear. When not outdoors, Jason and Theo loved to challenge each other playing video games, leaving Theo with yet more memories of his fun-loving dad.
Jason’s dad Terry, together with Virginia, were blessed to spend Jason’s last few weeks with him in Toronto, and on behalf of the family they extend sincere thanks to the staff of the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided to Jason; to his loving partner Wendy who, while fighting her own health challenges, provided unwavering loving care and support; to the many friends, family members and businesses who willingly provided financial support to both Jason and Wendy as they travelled their difficult health journeys, and to the staff of Simple Choice Cremation for their compassionate attention to the necessary details.
Jason , your family echoes the words of Donna Ashworth, words which brought much comfort to Wendy:
“We lost you. But we got to love you and even in our grief we will be ever grateful for that.”
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jason’s life will be held in Grand Falls-Windsor at a later date in 2026.
