Joan Sara Lyver,
February 5, 1939 (Botwood, Newfoundland) to May 5, 2026 (Bobcaygeon, Ontario).
Joan passed away after a lengthy illness. She was 87 years of age.
Joan was predeceased by her ex-husband Richard; parents Ethel and Ed Lyver; sisters Bernice, Marie and Irene; brothers Gower, Frank, Charles, Jack, Arch, Jim and Dennis. She leaves to mourn her brother Ed Lyver (Grand-Falls Windsor, Newfoundland); daughters Sharon Wuorisalo (Steve), Michele Wuorisalo (Ron); grandchildren Joseph (Kristi) and Mark (Kristy), Craig and Sarah (Matt), great-grandchildren Tobi, Chayse, Harlow, Hudson, Kasey, Vincente, Jamieson, Kaya, Maxine, Sophia and Taylor. Also many niece and nephews and surrounding family and friends; including her loving dog ‘Toey’.
Joan was born in Botwood, Newfoundland where she lived until early adulthood. She then moved Ontario and retired from Providence HealthCare.
She enjoyed her family and her Newfoundland heritage.
Mom is in Heaven with Jesus and her family and friends. Mom will be truly missed.
