John Ernest Salmon

John Salmon beloved husband, father and grand father passed away at home surrounded by his wife and daughters on October 3, 2025 at 79 years old. He fought a courageous battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
John lead a full life raised on the family farm along with his six siblings.
In 1969, John married the love of his life Judith (Phillips) and had two daughters, Melissa and Julie; later John and Judith adopted a third daughter, Janey.
John retired after 35 years working for London Transit Commission. He was an avid hunter, beagler, hockey player and referee. John was a lifetime member of the Elgin County Beagle Club plus a member of Thames Valley Beagle Club, where he was a field trail judge.
John wasn't one to sit still. He was into brewing his own beer, wine and lastly moonshine which he was very proud of.
A huge hole has opened for the family and he will be missed by many who knew him.
Cremation has taken place.
