Katy Cole Bellefeuille
Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Katy Cole Bellefeuille, 35, passed away on February 24, 2026 leaving us with full and broken hearts. Katy was born on April 23, 1990 in Ottawa to Sue and Jacques, her loving parents. Katy is survived by her sister, Stephanie, and her parents. To her family and friends, Katy was known to be the funniest person in the room, quick with her wit, and determined to get people laughing. She was always generous with her time and there’s nothing she would not do for those she loved. She was passionate about women’s sports, especially soccer, having played herself for many years. She was known to be a fierce competitor and excellent goalie.
Katy led by example and was passionate about being a good leader, especially to young people. In lieu of flowers, Katy’s family requests donations be made to the BGC Ottawa, https://www.bgcottawa.org/donate . She spoke very fondly about her placement at the Ron Kolbus Clubhouse during her time at Algonquin College. Katy’s Memorial will be held at Glen Cairn United Church, 140 Abbeyhill Dr., Kanata, ON, K2L 1H5 on Wednesday, March 18th from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Katy’s family invites guests to wear purple and submit photos of Katy to longlivememoriesKB@gmail.com. If you’re unable to attend, please feel free to share a memory by email.
