Kenneth George Ford
Kenneth passed away at Windsor, Ontario after a lengthy illness at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents George & Irene. Lifelong partner and “best mate” of Violet (nee Badragon). Dear brother of Nancy (Matt) Heynsbroek. Brother-in-law to Charlotte & Robert Drouillard. Son in law of Elizabeth and the late Stuart Badragon. Dear Uncle of Michael (Jenn) Heynsbroek, Alison (Mike) Brisson & Blake Drouillard. Cherished Great-Uncle of Jason, Laura, Nancy, Noël, Natalie and James.
Kenneth worked at Canada Border Services Agency for 32 years in Windsor and Ottawa. He began his career as a clerk in 1974 & rose through the ranks, retiring as Manager of Client Services in 2006.
Many thanks to the compassionate staff of 7th floor North, Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus for their care.
Special thanks & much love to the wonderful staff at Riverside Place Long Term Care Home who took such loving care of Kenneth for more than 6 1/2 years We’re so thankful for their kindness and care given to Ken and our family.
Kenneth was a big, sweet “teddy bear” of a man and will be sorely missed.
Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of Kenneth’s life will take place at a later date. Donations in Ken’s memory would be appreciated to Parkinson Canada or Windsor Essex Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation. (519-254-2585).
