Kenneth William Ritchie

"A life well lived"

Ken Ritchie, a man whose kindness, generosity, and love for others left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.  Kenny offered support and gave his time freely, never expecting anything in return.  His generosity wasn't something he talked about; it was simply the way he lived.

Growing up on a farm taught him the value of hard work, perseverance, and caring for the land.

He found peace and joy tending to his gardens.  Family and friends will always remember his famous pickled beets, and homemade apple, or pumpkin pie.  They weren't just recipes; they were traditions, made with care, and shared with pride.  No one could quite match "Pepe's peaches".  

Ken had a love for sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leaf's.  His passion was unmatched.  He faithfully cheered them on through every season, celebrating the victories and enduring the disappointments.  Kenny could recite statistics and remember players from years gone by better than most.  Kenny taught us that the greatest measure of a person isn't found in wealth or recognition, but in kindness, hard work, and generosity.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the privilege of having known Ken.  

Kenny will be forever loved by his late wife, Nicole, dog "Ella" and bird "Kiwi".  Cherished by his "daughter" by choice, Sheila Lepan (Jean-Francois) and grandchildren Emilie, and Mathieu.  

Many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
