It is with profound sadness that the family of Kevin John McLuckie announce his passing on July 21, 2026, at the age of 58. Kevin passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family and close friends.
Beloved husband and best friend of Elaine (née Clanachan) for 32 wonderful years, Kevin was a devoted father to Maegan and Maddison, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was also pleased to welcome Justin, Maegan's significant other, into the family.
Kevin was predeceased by his father, William McLuckie, and leaves behind his loving mother, Carol McLuckie, who will miss him dearly. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Anne Clanachan, and was predeceased by his father-in-law, David Clanachan. Dear brother of Craig McLuckie (Kathy), Kevin will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, many in-laws, and dear friends.
Kevin was an incredibly hardworking man whose greatest joy and purpose in life was his family. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his girls, always putting the needs of his wife and daughters before his own. His dedication, strength, and unwavering commitment to his family were evident in everything he did. Kevin took immense pride in being a husband and father, and the love he had for Elaine, Maegan, and Maddison was the foundation of his life.
Known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and dependable nature, Kevin was someone family and friends could always count on. He enjoyed sports and valued time spent with those closest to him, creating countless memories that will be cherished forever. His legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In keeping with Kevin's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation Centre – Wyandotte.
Though his loss leaves an immeasurable void, Kevin's love, guidance, and steadfast dedication to his family will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
