Laurel Diane Damphouse

Laurel Diane Damphouse 
July 19, 1954 – January 29, 2026 

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Laurel Diane Damphouse announces her passing on January 29, 2026, at the age of 71. 

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Mickey” Damphouse (2020). 
Loving mother to Stacy Damphouse. 
Adored and cherished grandmother to Myah, Kayla, and Brayden, and proud great‑grandmother to Violet and Nova. 
Dear sister to the late Terry Truscott. 
Laurel will be forever remembered by her many nieces and nephews. 

She will also be reunited with all of her beloved pets in Heaven, a place she knew would be filled with the unconditional love they shared. 

Laurel will be deeply missed by her best friend, Patty, whose companionship brought her joy. 

She found peace and happiness being near the water, watching the boats pass by. Laurel loved spending time in nature, especially while camping at Rondeau Park and Sturgeon Woods. She enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting Casinos as “life was a gamble to her.” 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Aspen Lake, especially “all her Riverside girls,” for their care, compassion, and support. You all went above and beyond and it meant the world to us.   

As per Laurel’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
