Laurie Ann Gibb (nee Deschamps)
54 years. After facing a brief but devastating illness with extraordinary courage and grace, Laurie passed away peacefully with her daughters and fiancé by her side, after spending
her final days surrounded by the love of family and dear friends.
Laurie was the cherished mother of Olivia and Emma Gibb. She will be sadly missed by her fiancé, Geno Duronio (Anthony (Rachel), Nicolas, Daniel Duronio (Kassidy)
She was the beloved daughter of Marilyn Parent and the late Richard Deschamps (2026). She will be sadly missed by her brother and sisters, Jim Deschamps (Tracey), Tammy Deschamps (Jeff Benoit) and Roxane Pare (Steve). She was also the cherished Aunt and Great Aunt of: Raegan, Colleen, Chas, Katelynn (Colt & Georgia), Owen, Mackenzie and Jonah. She will be deeply missed by Grandma Anita Gibb.
Laurie was also the dear and cherished friend of many but especially of Kary Coulson, Debbie Coulson and Amy Barrett.
Laurie will be remembered in the beautiful eyes of her daughters, in the countless lives she touched throughout her nursing career, in the unwavering love she shared with her nieces and nephews and in the deep and lasting friendships she cherished. She adored being a mom, travelling and crafting.
Thank you to the incredible staff and care teams at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus), Leamington Hospital, Chatham Hospital, London Health Sciences Center (University and Victoria hospitals) and Hospice of Windsor (Empress location).
