Obituary Overview
Laurie-Ann Natywary
Laurie-Ann Natywary, 55, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on October 7, 2025, in Windsor, Ontario, the city where she was born and spent most of her life.
Born on February 10, 1970, in Windsor, Laurie-Ann built a life rooted in strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. She dedicated much of her professional life to the supervision of the automotive manufacturing sector, with a particular focus on quality supervision. Her work reflected her meticulous nature and commitment to excellence.
Laurie-Ann was known for her kindness above all else—but those who knew her best also remember her as funny, stubborn, charitable, strong, and vibrant. Her personality lit up every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Her passions were as diverse as they were heartfelt. She found joy in gardening and took comfort in watching films and television. She loved attending concerts and traveling to new places. Horseback riding brought her peace and connection with nature. Through all these pursuits ran a common thread: Laurie-Ann embraced life fully and encouraged others to do the same.
A devout Christian, Laurie-Ann’s faith was central to her life. It guided her actions and gave her strength through every season. The words of Revelation 21:4 held deep meaning for her: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Laurie-Ann is lovingly remembered by Devon Ducharme, Ryan Ducharme, Shelly Penberthy, Dawn Marie Hobbs, and Christine Ann Ladouceur. She now joins George Penberthy and Laurie G Natywary in eternal rest.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her—a testament to a life lived with grace, humor, resilience, and love.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
