It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leo Charles LeBoeuf announces his passing on August 7, 2026, at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of Doreen LeBoeuf and loving father of Allen LeBoeuf and Debbie LeBoeuf (Chris).

Adored and cherished grandfather of Adam Mallaley (Mikaela), Jenna LeBoeuf (Kyle), and Ryan LeBoeuf (Cooper), and proud great-grandfather of Rylee and Miller.

Dear brother of Carmelle Pinsonneault (Ron), the late Lucille St. Pierre (late Gerry), Gert Comrie (late Bryson), the late Uly LeBoeuf (Diane), the late Denis LeBoeuf (Ruth Anne), Rene LeBoeuf (late Jayne), the late Charles LeBoeuf, Sue Mailloux, and Collette Matero (Russ).

He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Leo was born and raised in St. Joachim along the Ruscom River, a place he was proud to call home throughout his life. It was there that he built a beautiful life with his beloved wife of 60 years. Together, they raised their two children and eventually enjoyed a well-earned retirement.

A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Leo dedicated 32 years of service as a tool grinder at Ford Motor Company. Upon retirement, he left behind many years of hard work and gained the opportunity to enjoy the things he loved most. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, including hunting, fishing, golfing, and travelling with his wife, making cherished memories wherever they went.

Leo could often be found “tinkering” away in his garage, working on his latest project with a cold beer in hand. The garage door was always open, and so was his heart. Anyone who stopped by was welcomed with a smile, offered a beer, and encouraged to stay awhile. His garage was never just a place to work; it became a gathering place filled with stories, laughter, friendship, and countless memories. For those fortunate enough to pull up a chair and spend time with Leo, those moments will be treasured forever.

As per Leo’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at St. Simon & St. Jude Hall in Belle River. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, stories, and celebrate a life well lived.
