Linda Mary Geary (nee Banwell)

Linda Mary (Banwell) Geary, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 24, 2026 at the age of 66, with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of 41 years to John E. Geary and loving mother of John K. (Clare) and Ashley Geary. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Bill Banwell, Lisa (Geoff) Rundle, Jennifer (Tony) Drouin, and Chris (Paulette) Banwell. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Born in Windsor, she was predeceased by her parents, Mary Jane and Larry Banwell, and her in-laws John H. and Louise Geary. 

Linda lived for her family and friends. Those who were lucky enough to be loved by her knew they could rely on her unwavering support. She cherished staying connected with her siblings and friends, whether by phone, text, or in-person visits. Linda always made sure that there was a plan for the family to be together during holidays, birthdays, or any other meaningful moments. With her daughter Ashley, she loved shopping and decorating the house for each season and holiday. She looked forward to her daily check-in with her son John and came to Michigan to visit whenever possible. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, trying new foods, and sampling the local wines. Linda was always happy to be the taste tester for anything her husband barbecued or smoked. She always looked forward to her annual trip to the cottage with her girlfriends. 

While she will be missed, her loved ones find comfort knowing she has been reunited with her late chihuahua Pixie. A celebration of life will be planned to honor Linda. More details to follow.
