Lois Elizabeth Grant

In Loving Memory

Lois died peacefully in her 79th year with family at her side. She is remembered by her twin sister, Lynda McColl, sister Judy Burns, brother Gregor Grant (Carol) and her nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Dave, Catharine, Carolyn, Heather, Andrew and many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son, David Arinobu and sister, Janice Grant as well as her parents.

Lois was a nurse and began her career at Sick Kids before becoming a community nurse. She met David at Sick Kids when he was a baby and they quickly bonded. Between Lois, David and their many supports, they created a life in which he used all his abilities to really enhance both their lives. They created and expanded their activities/friends and were like two peas in a pod. Lois worked tirelessly to advocate for David's needs and desires and built a very good life. They were both avid Blue Jays fans and well known at Rogers Centre. 

Lois created a wonderful life and home for them both, she missed him dearly after his death 3.5 years ago.
